I am Konstantin Aal. I research human-computer interaction at the University of Siegen and work as science transfer officer at KGSt in Cologne, the German association for municipal management.
My research covers computer clubs in Palestine and Morocco, participatory design with people with dementia and with older adults, algorithmic repression and resistance, and AI in public administration. I also build tools: a second brain with local language models, a message dispatcher for Claude Code, a contacts app and a dictation app.
